When was the first time i got hurt?

I don't exactly know if this was the first time i got hurt but it is the one time i got hurt that i will always remember. It was the first time i had ever been hurt badly. I was across the street at my friends house when i was about 10 years old. There were three or four of us jumping on her trampoline. I tried to show off some tricks to them and did a front flip. When i did this flip i over rotated and hit my head on the metal outside bar. I just remember feeling some pain in my lip but it wasnt intense pain. All of the other kids looked at me and then ran to get their parents. She brought out a towel for me because apparently i had busted my lip wide open and could even tell if i had lost any teeth becaue it was so bloody. My friends parents immediately took me back across the street to my mother who then rushed me to the hospital to get my mouth checked out. The doctor said that i had gashed the inside of my lip and cut my gum. The doctor said it wasnt anything severe but that i could get stitches to sow up my lip or i could just let it heal on its own. He said if i chose to let it heal on its own then i would always have a scare and knot inside my lip which i still do at the age of 18. As for my cut gum, i had to get stiches for that but it was only like four. For weeks i had to take a bottle to school and drink out of it because thats how the doctor said i had to drink thinks so that i could be careful of my lip and gum. That incident has taught me a lesson to be very carefuo on trampolines.
