News for Government!

Not only do i now have to blog every month for my english class but now i have to do weekly news stories for my government class. This internet stuff is a complete hassle. We have to pick 4 news stories if we want an A and then summarize them and write how they are connected to the world and people and then post them on moodle. It is really a waist of time because i don't care at all and just write stupid stuff that doesnt make sense and post it and just get the grade. It not like i really even know whats going on. I just write for the heck of it. That is probably why everyone hates government so much. No one likes to write those stories all the time. I hate government!!!!!

My Little sister.

My little sister is now the big 10 years old. She thinks she runs the house. She has now entered her bratty stage of life and i cannot stand it. She tries to tell me what to do like im not 8 years older then she is. Mom is having a hard time with it too but she knows that it is only a phase and is trying her hardest to just look past it. The only thing is that she never gets punished for anything. Mom and dad threaten her with a grounding of some sort but they never actually do anything. So she continues to rule the house. The only thing she really cares about is the animals so they threaten to ground her from those. Then she cries and cries and cries and they let her out of it. Take last night for instance. That morning she was being a brat and dad told her she was grounded from the animals and had to go to bed early the whole weekend. Well, that night she stayed up untili 11 and played with her animals half the time. My dad is such a softy with his little brat!

My Pets

Throughout my years i have had many pets come through my house. Currently i have a dog named bay, a cat named tiger, and a mouse named whiskers. All of them are my sisters pets except for the dog. That one is a family pet. When i was little my favorite pet was my frog i had in my fish tank. I can't ever remember the name i gave for it but i loved that thing to death. One day one of my friends came over and i wanted to show him off. I took the fish net thing and tried to pin him to the side so he could swim away and i could then pull him to the surface. While i was doing that, i accidentally pinned his leg and he tried to swim away and i ripped his leg off. I was so distrought! It was an aweful act of animal cruelty on accidnt. You could only imagine what 2 ten year old girls thought when they saw a frogs leg ripped off. I have never owned another frog in my whole life. RIP frog.

Finals!

My senior year i finally don't have to take any of my finals. It is such a relief to know that i am going to get out of school early anyways and not having to worry at all about finals at all. My junior year i worked very hard on whatever test we had to take ( maybe the CATS test?) and made a proficciant and distinguished on all of the open responses and the reward is getting out of my year end finals! I hate to brag about it becaue i know other seniors think i am throwing it in their face but they should have worked harder and done better. At the time when they were a junior taking the test, they didn't see senior year and not taking their finals. Now i bet they wish they had done better and tried harder. I remeber that test and the open responses were extremely hard. When we had a 10 minute break i had to ask some of my friends for a little bit of help even though we werent supposed to talk about the test at all during the break. I couldnt help myself, i really wanted to get out of my finals this year. And i did so i give myself a pat on the back.

Plans for Spring Break!

Spring Break is right around the corner.....actually next week and i still have no idea what i am going to do. My plans were to go to Chicago with some friends from my work but then those plans bailed because they said that they aren't going to do anything for spring break. I also got asked to go to Panama with a bunch of friends from school but i dont know if i really want to do that because my entire school plus all of owensboro goes there on spring break. Everyone goes and gets drunk and high and all that and don't remember any of spring break. I don't involve myself in those activities so i just think it would be boring for me to go and be the only one who is sober the whole time. Then my plans changed to only going to a different part of Florida with two of my friends and we haven't even reserved a room or anything yet. This has become extremely stressful! I might just end up staying here in owensboro and waiting for the summer to do anything.

My Report Card

On my 3rd nine-weeks report card i had straight A's for the first time since elementary school. I worked hard that nine-weeks to get those straight A's. It was hard but im glad i did it. The last time i ever remember getting any type of straght A's was when i was in elementary school when we had checks and check plusses and i had straight check plusses a lot. i figured that when i got into middle school it would be easy to obtain straight A's but i was wrong. I have always been gifted with being smart but i have not always been gifted with nonlazyness. I'm sure i could have made straight A's my entire school career but i tend to be lazy a lot and that makes me have just under an A. I have had maybe 2 really bad grades my entire school career but every other time i have had a's and b's or straight b's or a's b's and c's. Now that i tried really hard to get straight a's, my laziness might come back in and i will probably only get a's and b's on my next report card.

My Job

Currently i work at Shoe Stop and have been for the past year. Most people don't know where that is but it is beside Buffalo Wild Wings and Hobby Lobby. People have always told me not to talk bad about my job but i am going to do it anyways. When i first started working in the shoe business which was two years ago when i worked at shoe carnival before this job i thought it would be no big deal. What all is there to do at a shoe store? Well this question soon came answer in the worst way. Both shoe stores i have been in, all of the managers are spastic to the extreme about selling shoes. They just expect you to bug customers into buying shoes. I could be the only person who thinks this but when i shop for shoes i dont want anyone bugging me. At shoe stop there are at least 6 workers there all the time. That is alot for a stupid shoe place. One person per section ( ladies, mens, athletics, kids, cashier, and manager). If you don't ask every single person if they need help then you usually get in trouble by the manager. At night a little bit before we close we have to vacuum the whole store, pick up all the trash and make sure EVERY shoe box is straight on the shelf. I think that is crazy, there are more than 1000 shoes in that building and we have to make sure they are all straight by the end of the night. I am currently in the process of finding a new job!

The first time i drove a car.

The first time i ever drove a car was scaryyyy!! I was with my aunt Brandi and had to be at least 13 years old. She took me into a parking lot out in the middle of Whitesville and told me to hop in the drivers seat. I had no idea she was actually being serious. so i hoped in and as soon as i started driving my aunt turned pale. She was extremely scared and was fixing to panic. I thought i was doing well if i do say so myself. She said i should wait a very long time before trying to drive again and that she might have nightmares from this time.
