Making It To State My Senior Year!!!!

i have played volleyball for four years and they have been great. The only problem was that none of my years playing had my team made it to state. My senior year i was determined that we would make it. The one team that stood in the way, as did every year, Catholic! There were five seniors on the team and some younger less experienced players. We managed to pull them together and won district. After that it was time to buckle down and train for region, that if we won would go to state. I will remember that region game for the rest of my life. It was the one and only game i had won of that much importance to me and it was the hardest. We fought and fought and after three games we managed to pull through and win. It was such an excitement and us seniors has finally put our feet down and did not let Catholic win. State didnt last long but the atmosphere of going and winning for the first time in four years was the best feeling imaginable!

The Perfect Pet For Me!!

I was watching a show on animal planet when i came across a little baby pot bellied pig on the screen. This is when i realized that one of those would be the all time perfect pet for me. ive tried begging my mom, doing extra chores around the house, and even bribing her by saying i would pay for all its needs. Of course, she said no. I am heart broken still but will eventually get one when im on my own. She wont let me have one because one time i snuck a puppy into our house and never took care of it. I pushed all of it on my sister, the extreme animal lover. Mom eventually got mad because the puppy needed to be taken out at 4a.m. and i sure didnt do it, so it crapped all over the house. She believes a pig would do that same thing. I tried to tell her we could train it to use the doggy door that our full grown dog uses, but she insisted we not have one. But i still have a dream that will be fulfilled one day.

Favorite Thanksgiving meal

My all time dream Thanksgiving meal would be as follows:

Turkey, of course, hashbrown casserole, broccli casserole, green beans wrapped in bacon, ham, dressing, gravy, rolls drowned in butter, corn, pecan pie, and banana pudding!!!
These are my favorite foods on thanksgiving and i am very thankful that i am blessed to have a wonderful family and food to have for thanksgiving.

Rainy Days

On rainy days i spend alot of my time sleeping or being very lazy. The rain in the winter, cold months makes me sleepy and want to cozy up on the couch and watch movies all day. i usually watch about three- four movies on a rainy day when i dont feel like getting out or doing anything. In the summer and spring i LOVE the rain. Sometimes i will take my ipod or some form of music outside with me out on the porch and i will sit the whole time its raining just watching it fall. It looks so pretty falling against all the bloomed flowers, green grass and trees. i love the feel that it is replenishing the earth by giving it a drink of water, especially when it hasnt rained for a couple of hot musty days. Rain is a wonderful thing.

What Veterans Mean To Me!

I appreciate veterans so much. For some reason veterans day was more special to me this year and i have no idea why. I really stepped back and thought about everything they do for us each and everyday and without them im not sure where our society would be at this point. I did not invited my grandpa to veterans day this year ,even though he was in the Korean War, and i regret nit greatly. I want him to know how appreciative i am of him and the service he shared for our country. We never really talk about it much but he told me he spent 18 months in korea fighting for our country and that it wasnt a very good thing at all. i could never ever express how much i appreciate the people who serve for our country and especially my grandpa. It brings tears to my eyes to think about the families who have lost member because of the war and the hardships the men and women who fight for our freedoms much go through. Thanks to all of the men and women who make our freedoms possible.

All About Scary Movies.

I am not a fan of any type of scary movies at all. At this age I still get a little scared of the witch on Snow White. The movies that really scare me are the Saw series. They are gruesome and twisted and are really demonic. I'm not sure how anyone even has that kind of twisted mine to make a movie like this series. I think that how bloody and suspensful a movie is depends on how scary the movie is. The suspensful part is worse then how gruesome movies are. The music also plays a big part in the suspense and scaryness of movies. Wether you pay attention to the music during a movie is irrelevant because it plays a part in how you act. Because of the music you know when something scary is fixing to happy or pop out on the screen. If i ever do decide to watch scary movies I ALWAYS have to watch hilarious cartoons afterwards to help me go to sleep.

Short Story of Halloween.

One spooky, halloween night I was sitting at my house when I decided to invite three of my friends over Kelli, Katlan, and Sara. We decided to go for a walk down the street to a halloween party one of our friends was having. On the way there we saw a haunted house and decided to take a peak inside. It had to be old because it was infested with spider webs, a few black cats, and not to mention ghosts. Of course we were scared out of our socks but all of the doors were locked and too heavy for us to open so we explored the house, in a hurry, in search of some way to get away so that the ghosts couldnt catch us. We came across a book case that pulled out a book that was sticking out further than all the other ones. This was the key to the sliding book case. It led to a secret bed room that was complete with a bed, dressers, and a chimmney. When the ghosts flew through the walls and tried to scare us we all four climbed up the chimmney and ran screaming all the way home. I learned from that lesson to never explore into an old haunted looking house.

My Biggest Fear As a Child.

As a child i would have to say that my biggest fear was the boogie man living under my bed. I know everyone seems to say that that was their biggest fear but it truly was mine. This became my biggest fear because of the show Dont Look Under The Bed that came on DisneyChannel. As soon as my parents tucked me into bed, i would sleep with ALL of the covers (even the comforter) all the way up to my neck no matter the temperature of my room. I could have been completely drenched in sweat, my hair looking like i just got out of the shower and all, and still wouldnt have pushed the covers down even the slightest bit. If I had to pee really bad i would have rather pee'd on myself or try to make myself go to sleep so that the morning would come faster so i could pee faster. If i did become brave enough to hop out of the bed and make a mad dash to the kitchen or bathroom i would leap a good ways from my bed towards the door so that the boogie man wouldnt have a chance of grabbing my ankles and pulling me into his horrific world under my bed. The same also went for when it was time to leap from my door to my bed. I realize now that none of that is true but every now and then ill leap from my bed to the door at this age just for the fun haha.

What Does Autumn Mean To You?

Autumn is my favorite season. I think that the changing colors of all of the leaves are absolutely beautiful. Many of the animals go away for the winter by either flying south or hibernating, so they will be refreshed for spring and summer. Autumn is a time to kind of settle down after the hot summer work and spend time with the family at home in the warmth. Our tradition when Autumn comes around is on friday and saturday night we light up the fire in the fireplace and watch movies together. This brings our family closer and is a very special time to me. The temperature starts to change and long sleeves and pants are the clothes to wear. I love the temperature change because most of the time its not to cold but its not to hot either. Its the perfect weather for a sweatshirt or hoodie and maybe a pair of shorts. Everyone starts to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas which are my two favorite holidays. Autumn is my favorite season because for me it is a family season.
